Gracianna Thanksgiving Letter 2025

Dear Gracianna Family,

This Thanksgiving, I’ve been thinking about Marshall McLuhan (“The media is the message”); he predicted, long before the internet, that technology would shrink the world into a “global village.” A place where life unfolds everywhere, all at once, often faster than we can truly see or feel.

Today, that prediction surrounds us. News and narratives designed to shape attitudes, joys, and struggles are happening simultaneously across the globe on our phones and podcasts and YouTube and and and…. Mostly outside our capacity to cope with it or even be aware of it.

It’s easy to feel the world overwhelming us.

But McLuhan also believed that even as the world moves faster than we can follow, the one thing that matters most is the simplicity of being present for one another.

And for us at Gracianna, that anchoring connection, the message beneath the noise, is being present and thankful, every day, not just today.

Gratitude is the simplicity that slows time down.

It pulls us out of the blur of the global village and back into the present into kitchens, around dinner tables, with family and friends that we choose, who remind us what matters.

Gratitude offers clarity in a world that will never pause again.

It settles our attention from everything happening everywhere all at once…to right where you are with the people you are with.

Every year, we are deeply thankful for you. For believing in what we believe in. For helping our wines carry our great-grandmother’s story forward. She insisted that grace is not something you wait for— it is something you must choose.

So, thank you for choosing us.

We choose you back.

Wishing you a warm and grateful Thanksgiving, friends.
